The HTM Sensors OCN1-0802P-ACS3 is an M8 shielded inductive proximity sensor with extended range, detecting metal targets at up to 2 mm. It has a PNP, normally open (NO) output on 10-30 V DC and a 3-pin M8 quick disconnect connection, and is a good fit for robotics, small machinery and tight spaces.
